#BeautiesOnFireCollab : Classic Beauty Theme

Hello Style Bunnies 🙂

Welcome to the very first theme of our #BeautiesOnFire Collaboration. Our first theme was decided via a Twitter poll. The voting was open for everyone and the winner of this week was…”Classic Beauty” Theme. For more information on what is this collaboration about you can check out  Beauties on fire Collab Introduction and can participate in this collab with us.

For me Classic Beauty, is dramatic winged eyeliner, flawless skin, bold brows and of course, the timeless red lip! I don’t wear bold lipcolors very often but as the weekely theme was Classic Beauty so here is what i did to create this look.

I kept the things very simple, I just started by using a minimal coverage foundation and concealer to hide uneven skin tone. Then i gave a  little hint of highlighter to my brow bones and on the bridge of my nose,so that the focus could be on my features. I then used a lipbalm to moisturize my lips. I have a very light brows, so I’ve filled in my brows to get a defined look which is the most important thing to create this look.

I have created smokey eye look with paying more attention on my corner of eyes to get a perfect bold winged liner look using an angled brush. I have used kohl under my lower lashline and blended it to create a soft look. Then in end i used little bit of mascara to finish off my defined eye look. For my lips, i have used bold red color to get a classic beauty look.

What do you think about this look? I don’t often like to wear such a bold makeup look, But i think for any evening party or occasion this is a perfect Classic look which can go well with western as well as with ethnic outfits.

I hope you enjoyed my first #BeautiesOnFire post. Do let me know by commenting below if you liked this look or not? Or does this look suits me? or you think something else can be done with this look. Suggestions are always welcomed.

        1. Aww thank you so much dear :* looking ahead for more blog posts for this collab. All the members have created such a lovely look. I am learning so much from each and everyone. Loved reading all the blog post.

  1. This is totally what I wanted to recreate. So similar to Brigitte Bardot’s eyes but I couldn’t make it work for my eye shape, not enough skills lol. Nicely done doll!! I love the look! Totally classic!

    1. Hey thanks you so much girl. Its not so difficult, you just need to put cellotape on both the end of your eyes and just put your eyeshadow and eyeliner. It just create a perfect winged liner. Try it and let me know, this hack will really help you in acheiving this look. 🙂

      1. I do use that tape trick to get my winged liner perfect! 😄 what I meant by I couldn’t do this look, is because when my eyes are fully open, my eyelids still show so it looked super weird on me. For People who have hooded eyelids, this look tends to look better. I’ll have to find a way to work with it to make it look good and not like I got a black eye lol

          1. Well bold lips look good on you! 🙂 I remember when I first tried bold lips, it was daunting! I’m glad I got out of my comfort zone because now I seem to wear them quite often lol.
